This part-time nurse practitioner (NP) / physician assistant (PA) role will include patient care rounding in post-acute care in one skilled nursing facility located in Eugene, Oregon.

• Job Duties :
• You will be a part of a collaborative physician-NP / PA team environment providing primary care in a post-acute setting
• Care includes but is not limited to admissions, progress follow up, acute follow up, and discharge
• You will also work with the facility to transfer patients to the level and site of care most appropriate for their medical needs upon discharge including returning to home, independent living centers, assisted living, and / or memory care
• Our clinicians work closely with hospice, palliative care, and home care agencies to ensure a safe transition home
• Our clinicians are also responsible for timely documentation and billing that meets Medicare guidelines through TeamHealth's EMR (gEHRimed)

• Primary care rounding in post-acute care setting with no weekend rounding requirements
• Part-time 1 day per week
• No procedures required
• Unmatched flexibility to customize daily schedule to create ideal work / life balance
• Call requirements : no night call; TeamHealth provides an overnight call service from 7pm to 7am to cover night call; you will be responsible to cover weekday call from 7am to 7pm for your assigned facilities
• Company provided iPad preloaded with access to TeamHealth's EMR and other software applications supporting seamless remote access and enhanced team collaboration
• Qualifications :
• New grads accepted
• Board certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Active Oregon license (or in-process of obtaining)
• Active and unrestricted DEA (or in process of obtaining)
• Primary care experience a plus, but not required
• Career Development :
• 70-day, industry leading onboarding program including EMR training, billing and coding tra Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w / o US residency with current US work visa.
