job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Must be familiar with the grading and pipes features with this software. Experience with corridors is a plus. Proficient with design process and general engineering concepts (ADA cross slopes, maximum grading slopes, interpreting contour map, drainage areas, etc). Experience with storm sewer hydraulics programs - StormCAD, HydroCAD, Autodesk Storm & Sanitary, etc. Experience with the review process in the St. Louis region (MSD, utility companies, municipalities) is a plus. Must be self-directed and mentally engaged with ambition for learning. Must be able to competently communicate in person and in writing. Must be willing to ask questions. Must be able to work closely with, and creatively contribute to, and take direction from a team of professionals. Must be willing to share knowledge and be willing to participate in all aspects of engineering design and production 5-10 years' experience working on Civil Engineering plan production Bachelors in Civil Engineering Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EI) Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.
