Network Implementation Engineer

Job description Infosys is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer who has hands-on experience on DWDM and OTN equipment. Required Qualifications : Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tulsa, OK be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.At least 1 year of experience in DWDM and OTN equipment’s platform – like Adva R7, Ciena NGO, Huawei DWDM. End to end configuring / provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting on EMS / NMA. Experience in Testing and troubleshooting on layer 1 and Layer 2 of OSI model (Ethernet / Sonet 1G, 10G, G, STM1-1 / OC3, STM-4 / OC12, STM-16 / OC-48, E1 / T1).Experience with project management from planning, optimization, implementation, acceptance, and traffic utilization for customer and internal circuits on SONET and DWDM system.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. This would need understanding of HECIG code, transport equipment’s, cable path, fiber path, cross connect into LIMS design. Ensure quality assurance on all disconnect procedures being performed correctly to mitigate.Experience in Testing and troubleshooting on layer 1 and Layer 2 of OSI model (Ethernet / Sonet 1G, 10G, G, STM1-1 / OC3, STM-4 / OC12, STM-16 / OC-48, E1 / T1).Participate in an on-call rotation for assigning / tracking work outside of normal business hours.Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
