The Product & Inforce Analysis Director plays a critical role within the Back Office Solutions (BOS) team. This position oversees the development and implementation of product selection and inforce analysis functions, supporting strategic planning and case execution for Member Firms. As BOS expands and adapts, we seek a results-driven leader who thrives in ambiguity, excels in collaboration, pursues innovation, and maintains a broad perspective on planning challenges, relationships, and solutions. This role anchors a dynamic, evolving team. While the responsibilities below reflect the position's primary focus, flexibility and a collaborative spirit are key. The ideal candidate will actively shape the direction and capabilities of BOS as we scale and refine our services.

Responsibilities :

  • Partner with BOS leadership to shape and continuously refine the strategic direction of the Product & Inforce Analysis function.
  • Develop frameworks and best practices for product selection, case design, and inforce policy reviews.
  • Support sales enablement by delivering timely, high-quality analysis of life insurance products and inforce policies.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the Company's insurance portfolio and how it compares across the marketplace — particularly around unique or differentiated product features.
  • Lead large and complex case design work, collaborating closely with Member Firms and BOS teammates.
  • Translate technical product knowledge into advisor- and client-facing deliverables such as case studies, Excel-based models, competitive summaries, and strategy memos.
  • Collaborate with internal product and sales support teams to refine internal tools and resources.
  • Develop training and thought leadership content to support BOS initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex product design or inforce policy questions.
  • Lead or contribute to BOS projects related to reporting, technology enhancements, process improvement, and corporate initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Life Insurance license and industry designations (CLU, CFP, ChFC) preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance planning and the application of our products, including experience in case design and competitive analysis. Home office or member firm experience a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years' progressively responsible experience in the life insurance industry including management responsibilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and illustration tools preferred
  • Well-developed computer skills, including use of : Illustration software, Microsoft Office tools, and the internet
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Member Firms and M team members
  • Job Conditions & Environment :

  • This position is based on-site at our offices in Uptown at the Quad in Dallas, TX with the flexibility to work one day remotely
  • Normal office environment / desk assignment
  • Extensive use of PC's, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse
  • Extensive hands-on work with documents, spreadsheets, and other written documents
  • Light Travel Required (10% - 20%)
