We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our team in Monclova, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while supporting various accounting operations. Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review journal entries for balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to maintain compliance and data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports to support strategic business decisions.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes, which may require occasional travel.
- Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies to ensure cost accuracy and consistency.
- Communicate with material vendors to address discrepancies and maintain strong working relationships.
- Conduct inventory adjustments and provide detailed analysis to support operational efficiency.
- Act as a backup for Accounts Payable functions when needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Generate daily, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reports to meet business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with various teams, including External Vendors, Product Management, Accounts Payable, Internal Sales, Operations, and Management, to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial data.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Clear and effective communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Coursework or a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with general ledger functions and accounts payable processes.
