job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssisting in front office patient care, including answering phones, making appointments, and collecting paperwork. Performing various administrative tasks as needed. Being able to properly handle patient questions, and relay messages to the doctor as needed. Perform back office clinical tasks such as vital signs and history and medication intake and assisting physicians during procedures, preparing and stocking treatment rooms. Be able to sit and / or stand for long periods, and be able to lift and carry at least 30 lbs. Experience with some form of electronic medical records system and documenting patient notes and services according to office policies. Present, promote, and educate patients about products and services offered at our practice. Preparing examination rooms with e.g., required equipment, supplies, and education materials for the provision of medical care by providers and nursing care by nursing staff. Responsible for performing basic laboratory procedures to include, e.g.; obtaining blood specimens for testing, performing hemoglobin, urine analysis, and urine and throat cultures as ordered, and drawing blood specimens as needed and ordered. Responsible for documenting patient care information in the patient’s electronic medical record. Other duties as assigned. Certificate of Medical Assistant program. Bilingual (English and Spanish) Current CPR Card. Current TB Negative test. Knowledge of how to navigate EMR (EClinical Works or Similar preferred). Salary : To be determined according to experience. Job Type : Full-time. Salary : $19.00 - $25.00 per hour. Dental Insurance Health Insurance Vision Insurance Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits are offered after 90 day probation period. Primary Care 8-hour shift Medical Assistant : 2 years (Preferred). Spanish (Required). Certified Medical Assistant (Required).
