Quality Assurance Tech I (Swings)

Rate : $20.25

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7 : 00 pm-11 : 59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12 : 00am-4 : 59am)

Purpose of Position :

• Monitor maintain and improve quality control systems to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.  Provide oversight training and motivation to the Quality Assurance Representatives to achieve departmental goals.

Essential Functions :

RESPONSIBILITY FOR QUALITY / FOOD SAFETY

All persons employed or associated with Foster Farms are responsible for the quality and food safety of company products. The food safety and quality policies are summarized and communicated in a company handbook and at training sessions. Each new employee is provided a handbook and attends a food safety training session before beginning work. All employees attend a refresher training session at least once per year. Records are maintained reflecting the distribution of employee handbooks and attendance at the training sessions.
