Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and executing core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, compliance, and general HR support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for employee relations and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment & Onboarding : Manage job postings, coordinate interviews, communicate offers, complete pre-employment paperwork, and facilitate orientation.
HRIS & Records Management : Maintain accurate employee records (physical and electronic), enter and update information in HRIS, and support payroll with documentation.
Employee Engagement : Organize employee recognition programs (birthdays, anniversaries, employee of the month), social events, and company newsletters.
Benefits Support : Assist employees with benefit elections, answer questions, and coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate processing.
Compliance & Audits : Oversee I-9 and E-Verify processes, maintain required labor postings, support disciplinary documentation, and ensure federal / state compliance.
Offboarding : Facilitate exit interviews, process termination documentation, and update HRIS.
General HR Support : Serve as first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and support various workforce development and community initiatives.
Qualifications :
3+ years of generalist HR experience (manufacturing / industrial environment preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
PHR, SHRM-CP or similar certification preferred
