Clean Air Act Engineer

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional management organizational and communication skills; has a strong background in Clean Air Act statutory regulatory and policy with a focus on permitting and enforcement.

Job Description :

• Draft Clean Air permits including minor source Title V PSD and major nonattainment permits
• Draft permits must be consistent with SIP approved rules EPA regulations and policy and applicable statutes
• Review proposed permits drafted by State and local agencies for conformity with regulations and policy including determinations of applicability of regulations potential to emit monitoring and control technology
• Draft and review control technology determinations including BACT and LAER determinations
• Review draft regulations for conformance with EPA requirements
• Research alternative approaches to compliance with EPA regulations based on similar State rules
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Manage multiple projects and small project teams simultaneously
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple clients and internal stakeholders
• Write technical documents

Qualifications and Skills :

$90000 - $120000 a year
