We're looking for a talented Software Development Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA and help drive our technical vision forward.
- THIS IS AN ON SITE / IN PERSON POSITION IN SAN DIEGO, CA 92127.
- Competitive salary range : $140,000-$155,000 per year DOE
The Opportunity
As our Software Development Manager, you'll lead our software development efforts, manage a talented team of developers, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products. This role is critical in advancing innovation and technical excellence within our organization. We currently have 1 opening for this position and we're looking for great candidates like you!
What You'll Do :
Provide strategic technical leadership and management for our software development teamOversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deploymentManage all the devices and applications team members use in the project such as project management, source control, CI / CD pipeline, cloud hosting, IDEs, and other development tools.Manage strategic timelines, resources, and budgets and allowing time for resolution for unexpected issues internally and externallyDevelop and maintain team processes, methodologies, and best practicesCollaborate closely with product management, design, and other cross-functional teamsEnsure high-quality code standards and implementation of robust testing protocolsRegular research and evaluation of emerging technologies and their potential impact on our businessAssess and recommend cutting-edge technologies that could improve our development efficiency, enhance product capabilities and provide competitive advantages in the marketDrive continuous improvement in development practices and team performanceParticipate in technical architecture discussions and solution designAssist in recruitment efforts in hiring the right team memberConduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team membersMentor and coach development team members, promoting professional growth and skill developmentPerform code reviews and enhancementsOther duties as assignedWhat We are Looking For :
Work Experience :
7+ years of software development experience5+ years of proven management experience in a software development environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Strong hands-on technical background with expertise in modern programming languages and frameworksDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing technical teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong rapport and ability to develop and maintain professional relationships both internally and externallyProven track record of successful project deliveryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, MVC, .NET, JAVA JavaScript, SQL, MICROSOFT TOOLS, SQL Server experience, etc.Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologiesFamiliar with CI / CD pipeline developmentStrong understanding of software architecture and design patternsExpertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure,)Version control systems (TFS)Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesStrong leadership and team-building capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communicationAdaptability and openness to emerging technologiesCapacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentRecognized servant leaderWhat We Offer
