Systems Engineer – Permanent Placement (Remote Eligible)

We’re seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join a growing Professional Services team supporting enterprise clients across multiple industries. This is a full-time, permanent role offering remote flexibility for candidates based in select states. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building either Citrix or Azure Native environments (not AVD) and a strong background in client-facing implementation work.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary build engineer delivering solutions designed by senior architects.
- Install, configure, and support :
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on-prem or Citrix Cloud)
Azure Native environments (not AVD)Nutanix AHV or VMware ESXi workloadsMicrosoft 365 with Exchange OnlineIntuneCollaborate with client IT teams to assess readiness, communicate progress, and validate deployments.Support user acceptance testing and troubleshoot deployment issues.Work cross-functionally with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely, secure delivery.Document implementation steps, create solution diagrams (Visio), and contribute to process improvements.Stay current on emerging technologies and vendor offerings.What You Bring
5+ years of hands-on experience in build and implementation roles.Minimum 3 years of experience building either Citrix or Azure Native environments.Minimum 3 years working for an integrator or consulting firm.Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.Excellent troubleshooting and client communication skills.Bonus experience with tools like ControlUp, FSLogix, IGEL, Nerdio, Liquidware.Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-140, or CCA-V are a plus.Team & Culture Expectations
