Program Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated Program Analyst to manage and oversee multiple department programs, with a focus on the Critical Needs Program and Rehousing Program. The ideal candidate will enhance customer experiences through targeted outreach and education, particularly for low-income and elderly customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple department programs competently and accurately, spending approximately 50% of time on this task over a year.
  • Oversee and manage the daily workflow of programs, including tracking and processing paperwork and applications, CCB updates, customer communication, initiating field activity, records management, and reporting (55%).
  • Develop messaging and drive education and participation in the programs from both external and internal strategic approaches (25%).
  • Provide reporting and track program activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (20%).
  • Enhance the customer experience through direct outreach and education to low-income and elderly customers, spending approximately 50% of time on this task over a year.
  • Interface directly with customers to provide options and information about programs and services to assist with energy bill payments, including face-to-face assistance at the KC Connect location (40%).
  • Work with Customer Affairs Advisors to maintain activity records, scheduling, and collateral materials (30%).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities to maximize customer reach (30%).

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in communication or business
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with external stakeholders, preferably in Customer Services, Operations, or Public Affairs
  • Demonstrated experience in customer interaction with problem-solving aptitude
  • Proven ability to build and retain positive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; CCB is a plus
  • Flexibility to travel locally and statewide in MO and KS
  • Willingness to work extended and non-traditional hours
  • Work Environment

    This role requires flexibility and adaptability with assignments, priorities, and work hours / shifts. The candidate must be willing to travel locally and statewide in MO and KS to meet job expectations. The position may require working extended and non-traditional hours as needed.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Topeka, Kansas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.67 - $22.67 / hr.
