PENDING CONTRACT AWARD Job Title : Aerospace Structural Welder Location : FRCASE NAS North Island / Naval Base Coronado, CA Task Description : AEROSPACE STRUCTURAL WELDER, BLS 51-4121, SCA 23010 Function : Use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Required experience : Minimum of five (5) years experience in the field of DOD military aviation maintenance in the last ten (10) years. Of the five (5) years, the Contractor shall have a minimum of three (3) years experience of aeronautical welding in an aviation maintenance environment. Must have demonstrated knowledge, experience, and working level skills / ability in area of aviation and aerospace welding, and structures sheet metal and fabrication. Must follow Military Specifications 1595 in the following materials : Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.
