Cafeteria Chef Assistant

Job Description : Work with the cafeteria team in daily preparation packaging and serving of planned menu items for distribution during approved times.

Shift : Thursday to Sunday - 7 : 00am to 5 : 30pm

Essential Functions :

• Create and plan a monthly menu of meals to be prepared and served in a cold prep kitchen. Create and fulfill inventory and supply orders to ensure menu plans are efficiently carried out.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times. Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping produce cutting meat and other meal prep.
• Maintains compliance with applicable health safety food handling and hygiene codes.
• Assists with unloading inspection and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
• Assist with maintenance cleanliness and stocking of employee breakroom clean and stocked with necessary meal service utensils and daily consumables such as coffee tea fruit and condiments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
