Warehouse Utility Technician (HKE) Weekend Shift

Description

This position is responsible for a variety of custodial tasks in housekeeping and minor maintenance of the DSC / warehouse (Distribution Service Center). Duties are routine requiring some degree of independent judgment in making minor decisions and other duties as assigned.

Additional Information :

Weekend Shift : Thursday-Friday 7 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm and Saturday-Sunday 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm.

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Companys applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees operating heavy machinery and access to proprietary information raw materials finished merchandise and / or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Encourage a safe work environment by modeling a positive safety mindset and motivating employees to follow all safety and company policies.
• Leaker and spill cleanup as directed.
• Custodial tasks in housekeeping
• Operation of the site scrubber machine
• Maintain housekeeping standards as required.
• Must be able to communicate and work cooperatively with coworkers.
• Ability to perform the required physical activities in the work environment safely.
• Attention and accuracy to detail.
• Keep managers informed of shift progress and events.
• Ensuring recyclable materials are recycled properly (compactor)
• Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed.
