ABOUT THE ROLE

The Live Event Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations for all live programming. You will be the point of contact for all requirements and requests by Fox Sports, Entertainment and Fox News Media team leading up to and during each live event. So, when a baseball game goes into extra innings or something unexpected happens on the live event, you will be making split second decisions that directly impacts viewers experience and event revenue. The role is part of the Media Operations team, which is responsible for delivering a high-quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across FOX Networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support for live events and execute real-time changes requests between production, sales, programming, and broadcast team.

Coordinate all aspects of live programming across streaming and linear distribution platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve live incidents and issues

Execute operational procedures and technical workflows

Play an important role to successfully pull together live events by supervising teams and coordinating with Fox Sports and Management

Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Teams

Work closely with all business units and provide world class customer service support

Jump on training opportunities to learn new skills, especially in emerging technologies

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

A bachelor’s degree is awesome, but not required

Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies such as 4K High Dynamic Range, and HDR10+ is a plus

#foxtechPursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-28.25 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
