This role involves providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and / or Diabetes Self-management Education / Training (DSMT). The candidate will exercise sound judgment and developed clinical skills to implement the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families / support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication.

The role requires adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
