Software Engineer

Software Engineer Responsibilities

Design core, backend software components.
Code using primarily PHP, Hack, Python, and C++.
Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa.
Conduct design and code reviews.
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature, or system with expert end-to-end understanding.
Successfully completes projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Information Systems, or related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

Requires three years of experience in the following :

Coding in PHP, Hack, Python, or C++

Conducting design and code reviews

Building large-scale infrastructure applications

Owning a particular component, feature, or system

Building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability

Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teammates to conceive, design, and deliver innovative products and services

Demonstrate the ability to design and code effective solutions from broadly defined problems

180,710 / year to $200,200 / year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
