As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring alarm panels, managing access control systems, and coordinating communication between teams. Your responsibilities will include responding to incidents, dispatching personnel as needed, and maintaining detailed records of all activities. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to help foster a welcoming environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable using computers or tablets and thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting. Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Monitor and coordinate communications for the location, including dispatching security personnel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all calls, incidents, and activities related to dispatch operations.
  • Assist in the coordination of emergency response efforts and communicate with local authorities as required.
  • Support security-related operations by relaying information and instructions to on-site personnel.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of all reported incidents and responding promptly.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
