The Role

Analyze digital design data and utilize these products in conjunction with build plans to create quality and accurate Visual Work Instructions (VWIs). Interprets and adds design elements and portions of systems for VWIs to meet manufacturing and installation requirements. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and / or graphic tools such as Teamcenter NX SAP NGP and TDP. Incorporates required changes as applicable. Advises management of the status of work in progress material availability and potential production problems to ensure that personnel equipment materials and services are provided as needed. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Launch your career as a Visual Work Instruction Developer by being an integral member of highly charged and dynamic team that is tasked with transforming the shipbuilding business by way of delivering model based designs / plans to the deckplate. E92 supports multiple shipbuilding programs and has established itself as a leader in an industry that is rapidly progressing towards manufacturing in a model based design environment. Responsibilities include consuming model based data and breaking it down into a consumable format that matches the workscope at hand while thinking outside the box and practicing innovative thinking in a challenging workspace.

They will coordinate with other organizations in the value stream to meet program objectives -Along with performing all other duties as assigned.

Must Have

Associates Degree in relevant field and 0 Years of relevant experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to an Associates Degree to meet minimum qualifications :

• NNS Apprentice School graduate
• Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
• High School / GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing Shipbuilding Trades Military experience
• High School / GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing Shipbuilding Trades Military experience

Nice to Have

Electrical VWI design or trade experience is preferred. Knowledge of VWIs TeamCenter NX NGP or SAP is a plus. Experience in Detail Planning or Production Control is a plus. Prior shipbuilding experience a plus. Experience checking technical documents. Ability to collaborate in a team environment. Ability to adapt quickly to change. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with suppliers / customers.
