Business Services Consultant

We are seeking an Employment Services Specialist to join our team in Concord and Salisbury, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals find meaningful employment opportunities and navigate the job market. As a member of our employment services team, you will provide expert guidance, support, and resources to job seekers while collaborating with local employers and community partners.

Match job seekers with suitable employment opportunities and facilitate the application process

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, job placements, and program outcomes

Develop and nurture relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities and promote our services

Stay informed about labor market trends, job search strategies, and employment laws

Participate in outreach activities and job fairs to promote employment services

Collaborate with program staff to understand the needs and skills of participants and match them with suitable employment opportunities

Establish and maintain relationships with employers across various industries to create job and internship opportunities for program participants

Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or 2 years' work experience in business-to-business sales, marketing, customer service, staffing or recruiting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Strong presentation skills with public speaking or outside sales experience

Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources

Demonstrated knowledge of labor market trends

Friendly, professional demeanor

Ability to work well in teams and independently

Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Valid Driver's License in good standing and proof of current automobile insurance required

Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) preferred

• NOTE : The position will be stationed in Concord and cover Salisbury

RATE of pay $22.06 / hour
