Responsibilities for Sterile Processing Technician

• Knowledge of Surgical Instruments, patient equipment, and medical-surgical supplies.
• Monitor and operate sterilization equipment
• Sterilize, prepare, wrap, and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures
• Test and report any issues or problems with the sterilization equipment

Qualifications for Sterile Processing Technician

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Certified via the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

1-2 Years of experience as a Sterile Processing Tech

Experienced using Autoclave and Steris Cleaning

Passion for keeping people safe

Technical skills and familiarity with sterilization techniques

Ability to work well in a team or independently

CPR

Salary : $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
