Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit to care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases .What You'll Do :
Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care.Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.Contribute to a positive patient experience throughout the continuum of care.Why Join Us?

Assess patient needs using the nursing process and plan individualized interventions.Recognize significant changes in patient condition, status, and needs for care.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and reduce risk.Actively coordinate discharge planning utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking appropriate actions when necessary.Demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills, promoting collaboration.Identify and intervene in threats to patient safety.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department functions and patient care.Engage in professional development activities to foster personal and professional growth.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by AHA.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Skills & Abilities Required :
