About us

Mosquito Hunters of Central Austin-Round Rock- Pflugerville is an established, innovative mosquito and pest control company based out of Austin TX. We are seeking a customer-focused, responsible, detail-oriented technician (with some preferred ) to join our team. The technician will perform inspections, identify pest infestations, implement pest control solutions, and provide preventative recommendations to customers. In addition to performing pest control services, this role involves promoting our services, identifying opportunities to upsell additional treatments, and expanding our customer base.

  • For Full Time expect to work 5-6 days a day (we are weather based with rain and wind affecting our ability to spray customers)

    • Responsibilities

  • Ability to be trained in Pest Control Technician Industry
  • Pest Control Technician license preferred
  • Provide mosquito control service using a backpack sprayer (about 50lbs) approximately 8-10 hour shifts for full time
  • Position starts early between 7 : 30-8 : 30am
  • We provide service to homes in the Austin Metro area, TX
  • Must be able to manage your day effectively. Text customers in advance of arrival and ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish.
  • Expertly answer frequently asked client questions from your route
  • Maintain equipment through maintenance / cleaning
  • Spray properties with precision and expertise according to pesticide application laws and company policies
  • Honest, Trustworthy, Dependable

    • Requirements

  • Valid and clean Driving Record- must be 25 years of age or older due to commercial auto requirements
  • Excellent People Skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to carry a 60-65lb backpack sprayer
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Successfully complete all state and Mosquito Hunters required training
  • Communicate effectively with Owners and customers
  • Having a valid state pest technician license is a plus

    Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

    Sales Commision : $100 for new customer and $50 for upselling existing customers

    Schedule :

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
