The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical setting, have a high level of professional documentation, and be open and comfortable with change.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians with medical documentation and orders
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and weight.
- Collaborate with health care team from facility and effectively triage to our providers
- Maintain patient charts and medical records.
- Organize schedule to ensure maximum efficiency
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures as necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including HIPAA.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications via email, phone, EHR, etc in a timely manner
- Participate in coordination of care meetings
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a medical assistant or equivalent experience required
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
