We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and professional Medical Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional health care services primarily within skilled nursing facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical setting, have a high level of professional documentation, and be open and comfortable with change.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist physicians with medical documentation and orders
• Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and weight.
• Collaborate with health care team from facility and effectively triage to our providers
• Maintain patient charts and medical records.
• Organize schedule to ensure maximum efficiency
• Assist physicians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures as necessary
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including HIPAA.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communications via email, phone, EHR, etc in a timely manner
• Participate in coordination of care meetings

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a medical assistant or equivalent experience required
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
