The City of Eastvale is seeking a Finance Analyst for the Finance Department. The salary range starting July 1st, 2025 is $98,205.93 - $122,645.75 annually, $8,183.83 - $10,220.48 monthly, and $47.21 - $58.96 hourly. Benefits include a 4-day work week, 11 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday, 3.5% COLA on July 1, 2025 and July 1, 2026, $2,612.57 monthly benefit allowance towards medical, dental, and vision, employer contribution to a health reimbursement account upon completion of fifth year, pension through CalPERS, 457 deferred compensation plan through Voya Financial, 200% employer contribution match to a 457 plan up to $3,000 per year, professional development with Breaking the Chain Consulting, and $2,500 educational reimbursement per fiscal year.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Three years of increasingly responsible financial analysis, budget administration, or accounting experience is required. Governmental experience is highly desirable.

The Finance Analyst will serve as a key member of the Finance Department, coordinating the City's budget programs and ensuring financial operations are executed with accuracy, efficiency, and alignment to organizational priorities. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic decision-making through the development, monitoring, and coordination of the City's budget. The ideal candidate will bring a "can do" attitude and a proactive, solution-focused approach to their work, thriving in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and accountability are essential.

What you will be doing includes overseeing the City's annual budget process, leading the Road and Bridge Benefit District nexus study project, conducting special districts budget levy calculations, updating and maintaining Finance Department administrative policies and procedures, and assisting with the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process.

This individual must be comfortable working independently while also engaging collaboratively across departments to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accountability in all finance-related activities.
