The Opportunity

Our US SCM Operations Programs and Engineering team is looking to add a dedicated individual in Houston TX or Charleston WV to support our program needs.

We are seeking an dedicated Contract Analyst who has knowledge and experience in procuring services from third parties through the companies procure-2-pay platform while ensuring that all contracting activities are completed with sound commercial judgment and on the right terms that will drive performance value and positive project outcomes while operating under safe environmentally sound and fair conditions. This individual has the proven skills competencies and capacity in Supply Chain Management processes and systems to identify issues risks and improvement in the contract negotiation and management processes and strategies while ensuring compliance to training requirements work standards policies and procedures.

What youll do

Support Contract Analyst Lead in Program support needs in regard to third-party service procurement

Be responsible for execution of a high volume of Purchase Orders and Release Orders for Program requirements

Be responsible for renewal and contract management assist with preventing contract leakage and maximize agreement usage through client groups

Utilize TC Energys pre-qualified suppliers and / or source new vendors based on client requirements

Ensure process compliance with TC Energys policies and procedures; establishing supply chain management best practices; identify process inefficiencies and provide potential solutions

Liaison between category management and internal clients

Assist in the resolution of escalated supplier and invoicing issues

Identify and realize opportunities for cost savings and / or avoidance

Collaborate with clients to process and analyze client requests for the supply of services; working within supply chain to competitively source required services (RFx)

Complete / Assist in Non-Conformance Reporting and supplier score carding when applicable

Ensure team compliance with training requirements work standards policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Supply Chain Management experience

A relevant University degree

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the oil and gas industry. Midstream energy generation or construction experience is a particular asset

Be proficient in Microsoft Office Space

Have excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work with large volume of transactions within a tight deadline

Have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
