Gastroenterology - Clinical Faculty

Rush University Medical Center,  a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of  Gastroenterology Faculty  in the Division of Digestive Diseases & Nutritions Section of Gastroenterology. This position will have shared practice locations at Rush University Medical Center in downtown Chicago and Rush Oak Park Hospital.

We are looking for applicants at the  Assistant or Associate Professor  rank with an interest in general gastroenterology . Academic appointments will be in the College of Medicine of Rush University. Our academic medical center is part of a large system focused on patient care, teaching, and research. More specifically, the Section of Gastroenterology is part of the Digestive Diseases Service Line which integrates clinical care, teaching, and research efforts to advance the subspecialty. The faculty are part of an integrated team of clinicians and researchers who also collaborate with allergy / immunology (GI / adverse reactions to food clinic), colorectal surgery and oncology (a comprehensive clinic for gastrointestinal cancers), bariatric surgery, ENT, pathology, and neurology.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range : $ 377,870  - $ 587,240
