About the Role
Complete Building Services—a Donohoe Company, is hiring HVAC Technicians in support of a large campus in Washington. Our HVAC Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems across campus facilities. This role supports a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment through skilled mechanical, electrical, and control systems work. The HVAC technician plays a key role in ensuring the physical integrity of building systems and responding to maintenance issues as needed. All shifts available, Monday - Sunday, 6 am-2 : 30 pm, 2 : 30 pm-10 : 00 pm, 10 : 00 pm-6 : 00 am. Salary $35.69-$43.26 per hour.
Oversee Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems, including :
- Condensers, compressors, evaporators, motors, chillers, cooling towers
- Heat pumps, air handlers, fans, dampers, duct systems
- DX units, filters, valves, gear boxes, and associated piping
- Rebuild and repair both commercial and domestic refrigeration systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor fabrication work as needed
- Assign Calibrate, adjust, repair, and operate pneumatic, electronic, and electrical controls.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic control systems.
- Coordinate with the building management systems (BMS) team to facilitate adjustments to
- system parameters including set points, schedules, and controller updates.
- Install or replace control boards and wiring related to HVAC operations
- Ensure adherence to EPA regulations regarding refrigerant handling, reclaiming, and disposal.
- Follow all safety protocols when working with high-voltage systems or hazardous chemicals.
- Maintain service logs and documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance calls affecting HVAC or cooling systems.
- Provide support for after-hours issues as part of a rotating on-call team when needed
You Should Have
