Common Services Platform Engineering provides the foundational services for Cisco Security Cloud. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute to our mission of making Cisco Security products work together seamlessly, ensuring an outstanding user experience across the portfolio.
You will be part of the team responsible for delivering unified provisioning and Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience, reducing friction for users and empowering Cisco Secure product teams to deliver innovation faster.
Your Impact
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will :
- Build components of the Common Services Platform to enable scalable and secure cloud deployments.
- Design and implement backend services and user interfaces for provisioning.
- Contribute to platform-level product provisioning systems that simplify product deployment and subscription lifecycle management.
- Develop high-availability APIs and developer-friendly tools that enable internal teams to innovate quickly.
- Improve platform observability and user / developer experience across the Cisco Security Cloud.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.5+ years of experience building and deploying backend applications (preference GoLang).Strong experience designing and integrating REST APIs, with a solid understanding of secure development practices and common security vulnerabilities.Familiar with Git, code reviews, and CI / CD pipelines.Proficient in working with both SQL and NoSQL databasesPreferred Qualifications
Full stack development using GoLand and React.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred) and cloud-native development.Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Kafka Streams).Knowledge of API Gateways, Service Mesh technologies, and microservices patterns.Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
