Labor and Delivery Nurse

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery Milwaukee, WI 53233 12-hr Day (7a–7 : 30p) & Nights Shifts (7p-7 : 30a) Contract Duration : 13 weeks {Dec 1, 2025 – Feb 28, 2026} Onsite | Contract Role | 36hrs / Week About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join their high-acuity team. You’ll deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to high-risk mothers and newborns in a Level III Perinatal Center and Level IV Trauma Facility . What You’ll Do : Provide direct and comprehensive L&D care, including triage, delivery, and post-partum recovery Support high-risk cases (placenta accreta, pre-eclampsia, cerclage, etc.) Assist as secondary RN for C-sections and circulate in vaginal deliveries Collaborate closely with CNMs, OB / GYNs, RTs, and anesthesia team Maintain charting in Epic and adhere to AWHONN staffing guidelines Requirements : ✅ Active RN license (Compact accepted) ✅ 2 years of RN L&D experience ✅ Certifications : BLS, NRP, FHM ✅ Level III Perinatal Care ✅ COVID vaccination required Perks : Competitive pay Free parking, scrubs provided No on-call; must be available for call-back Every other weekend & holiday rotation
