Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation

Hospital Based Outpatient

Position : Occupational Therapist

  • Must have Neuro experience Cognitive rehab and vision experienced preferred

Location : 1199 Pleasant Valley Way West Orange NJ

Salary Range : $ annually

Status : Full-time 37.5 hours weekly

Two days 10am - 6pm; Three days 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist (OT) :

Performs clinical care management in specialty area of upper extremity and hand to promote growth of program services w / interest in Hand Therapy Neuro Lymphedema Cancer Rehab

  • Possesses a highly specialized knowledge base and skills to facilitate patient treatment and staff development.
  • Effectively communicates on multiple levels.
  • Demonstrates active involvement in the community via education and marketing.
  • Promotes and develops services within the organization.
  • Assists with staff education through internal and external in-service education and mentorship programs.

    • Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current and valid NJ state licensure or pending state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
  • Prior Neuro Cognitive rehab and vision experience preferred.
  • AHA CPR / AED Certified
