We offer various flexible scheduling options, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Physicians will split a mixture of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, mainly a Monday–Friday schedule with one weekend per month. No call. Provide clinical leadership and administrative oversight for the Anesthesiology team. Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and accreditation standards. Develop and implement protocols to maintain best practices in anesthesia care. Manage level II trauma patients, OB / GYN, pediatrics, neuro, orthopedic, and general. Manage department scheduling, ensuring optimal staff coverage for surgical and non-surgical anesthesia services. Stay current on advancements in anesthesia practices and lead continuing education efforts for the team. Located on the Georgia / Alabama border, Columbus offers a big city with a small-town feel. It is the second largest city in Georgia after Atlanta, but boasts a more affordable housing market in the city and the surrounding areas. Love the outdoors? Piedmont Columbus Midtown is proud to have earned the Stroke Honor Roll and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll, the Get With the Guidelines Stroke Silver Plus from the American Heart Association, Antibiotic Stewardship and Neonatal Antibiotic Stewardship from the Georgia Department of Public Health, and Platinum Recognition from the Workplace Partnership for Life Hospital Organ Donation Campaign. Midtown offers a full range of comprehensive services, including emergency services, a Level III NICU, a Stroke Center, Pediatric Neurology, Oncology Services at the John B. Amos Cancer Center, an Orthopedic Trauma Program, and Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy. W2 Compensation : Annual salary $550k plus an annual chief stipend. A strong commencement bonus of up to $150k is offered. This will add an additional $ 50,000 per year over three years to the base salary, with a yearly market analysis. Annual Chief stipend of $40k.
