About the Role
As a Learning Experience Designer , you will play a pivotal role in creating impactful, scalable, and interactive learning experiences that accelerate employee growth and business success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create learner-centered, data-driven solutions that foster growth, improve performance, and enhance employee experiences. Your work will include crafting virtual and live instructor-led training, self-paced learning, video job aids, assessments, and train-the-trainer programs that push the boundaries of traditional learning.
What You’ll Do
- Design & Develop : Create innovative, interactive learning experiences, including e-learning modules, blended learning programs, and instructor-led training.
- Create Learning Journeys : Develop structured learning paths to help employees up-level their skills and expertise.
- Apply Instructional Design Principles : Leverage adult learning theories, instructional design methodologies, and cutting-edge technology to develop engaging learning content.
- Leverage Data & Analytics : Implement evaluation methods to assess program effectiveness, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Facilitate Learning Experiences : Conduct engaging workshops and training sessions for diverse employee groups.
- Support Change Management : Develop learning interventions that support organizational transformation and business growth.
- Experiment & Innovate : Use gamification, AI-powered tools, social learning, and microlearning strategies to enhance engagement and knowledge retention.
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams : Conduct needs analyses and gap analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field. 5+ years of experience designing and developing impactful learning programs.Expertise in Learning Design : Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and digital learning technologies.Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).Compelling Facilitator : Experience delivering virtual and live training with an engaging, interactive approach.Project Management Skills : Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Creative Problem-Solver : A strategic thinker who can translate business challenges into engaging, high-impact learning solutions .Collaboration & Adaptability : A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and is comfortable navigating change.Continuous Learner : Passionate about experimenting, iterating, and staying ahead of emerging trends in learning and AI-powered education .Why You’ll Love Working at Firefly
