Salary : Overview

JB Harris Logistics LLC is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator with proven LTL (Less-than-Truckload) and warehouse experience. This key support role will partner closely with our OEM Account Manager to coordinate the daily shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions. The Warehouse Administrator ensures that all documentation, communication, and compliance procedures run smoothlyhelping the logistics team deliver excellence to OEM customers.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Logistics Administration

  • Schedule and confirm daily LTL and carrier pickups in alignment with shipping timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documents (BOLs, packing slips, carrier labels, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the OEM Account Manager to ensure orders are correctly prioritized, packed, and staged for shipment.

Warehouse Coordination

  • Maintain clear communication with warehouse staff to execute order fulfillment plans.
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments, investigating discrepancies or delivery delays.
  • Assist with space optimization and layout planning for warehouse storage efficiency.
  • Inventory Control & Data Management

  • Update inventory logs and reconcile physical counts with records.
  • Enter data into warehouse systems and spreadsheets for real-time tracking.
  • Generate daily / weekly reports on inventory, shipment status, and potential bottlenecks.
  • Regulatory & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all shipping practices meet DOT and transportation compliance requirements.
  • Participate in audits and maintain documentation to support safety and regulatory adherence.
  • Uphold company policies regarding safety procedures and cleanliness standards.
  • Qualifications

    Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 23 years of experience in a shipping / warehouse environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or administrative logistics support role.
  • Prior experience with LTL freight coordination is required.
  • Technical Proficiency

  • Working knowledge of shipping platforms and transportation management systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and basic database use.
  • Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, pickers).
  • Key Competencies

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to problem-solve shipping errors, delays, or compliance issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills between departments and carriers.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
