The Public Relations Manager develops and manages a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media. Facilitate member engagement and provide communications and marketing support – including press releases, social media, graphics and advertising – in alignment with Council policies, standards, goals, objectives, and budget. Support the Council’s participation in national brand initiatives and marketing campaigns to locally advance the brand and support strategic objectives. Identify campaign target audiences and assist in the development of messaging for Council-wide implementation. Research marketing and advertising opportunities and keep up to date on industry data and trends.

Employees will sit and work at computer most of the time. Heavy visual acuity is required to perform such activities as preparing and analyzing data and figures, using computer, car and extensive reading and proofing.
