Oversee and participate in day-to-day accounting functions, such as payroll, PTO, accounts payable and receivable, and bank statement reconciliationCoach / mentor accounting clerk(s)Summarize current financial status by preparing and presenting information for balance sheets, profit and loss statements, monthly financials and other reports (Daily Cash Report, etc.)Create and maintain the budgetReconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account informationCreate plans of action for improved financial well-being, which lead to cost reduction, enhanced revenue and improved profitsForecastResearch, interpret and apply up-to-date accounting methods, policy and regulationsMaintain company data and procedural confidentialityWork closely with a CPA firm to ensure federal, state and local financial legal complianceSubstantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and filing backupsWork with other departments to create procedures and workflows that promote efficiency and productivitySkills and Qualifications
