We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler w / Extended Boom or Telehandler Forklift experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and management of materials within our warehouse environment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
  • Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels accurately.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as Extended Boom forklifts, Telehandler forklifts, and cranes in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Assist in building pallets and organizing materials for storage or shipment.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to minimize hazards.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements :

  • Previous experience in material handling with Extended Boom or Telehandler Forklift required.
  • Experience operating machinery such as cranes, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including background check and drug test.
