Purchasing Manager

About the Role
As the Purchasing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, negotiate contracts, and oversee the entire procurement process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies to optimize cost and quality.
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers; negotiate contracts, pricing, and timelines.
Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies throughout the procurement process.
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks related to purchasing activities.
Monitor and forecast demand to ensure timely supply of products and services.
Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenditure.
Guarantee the quality of products and supplies meets organizational standards.
Prepare and manage comprehensive procurement reports.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Exceptional negotiation and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
