This role is ideal for a seasoned security professional who thrives in solving complex challenges, implementing advanced security solutions, and mentoring others in a collaborative, forward-looking environment.

What You’ll Do :

Lead the design, implementation, and management of security tools and processes (SIEM, IDS / IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability management).
Partner with IT, compliance, and business units to ensure secure design and implementation of systems.
Conduct threat modeling, security assessments, and architecture reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
Oversee security incident response, including root cause analysis, remediation, and lessons learned.
Drive improvements in identity and access management, privileged access controls, and secure authentication.
Research emerging security trends, threat intelligence, and technologies to strengthen defenses.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

What You Bring :

7+ years of progressive information security experience in engineering or architecture roles.

Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulatory standards (GLBA, FFIEC).

Hands-on expertise with SIEM, firewalls, IDS / IPS, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint detection tools.

Demonstrated success in incident response and threat analysis.

Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.) to automate security processes.

Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s a plus).

Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
