Staffmark is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a fast-growing manufacturing team in Enfield, CT. This is a hands-on opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, assembling mechanical components and supporting production operations. If you're motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in a team setting, this role is for you.

Pay : $18 / hour

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 1st Shift

Responsibilities :

  • Assemble components based on work orders, schematics, and instructions
  • Accurately complete production documentation
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
  • Communicate with team leaders to ensure workflow and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts, cranes, balers, and compactors (training provided)

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or related trade
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (mechanical / electrical)
  • Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Familiar with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting and work well on your feet
