About the Department and / or College
The Texas Tech Institute for Small Business (ISB) is one of Texas Tech University's economic development departments. ISB has several small business technical assistance programs that work effectively with economic development partners, government entities, and lenders throughout our 117-county region to start, grow and expand small businesses in Northwest Texas. The ISB is part of Texas Tech's outreach efforts to support community entrepreneurship and innovation. The ISB has expertise in manufacturing, procurement, and business development, which helps entrepreneurs start and grow businesses, create jobs, increase sales, provide access to capital / funding, and provide customized training on relevant business management topics, such as cybersecurity, marketing and profitability.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
