About the Role :

The Nursing Coordinator at Children’s Recovery Center leads our psychiatric‐nursing team in delivering safe, recovery-oriented care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for consumers while supervising Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Consumer Recovery Specialists, and Mental Health Technicians.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct day-to-day clinical operations and uphold nursing standards.

Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance for a multidisciplinary team.

Monitor quality-of-care metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership on treatment plans and policy.

Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through training and feedback.

Schedule & Compensation :

Full-time (12-hour shifts)

Shift : 6 : 30 pm – 7 : 00 am

Starting at $85,000 + per year, commensurate with experience

Minimum Qualifications :

Active Oklahoma RN license or RN license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact and one of the education / experience tracks below :

Education and Required Professional Nursing Experience :

Diploma / Associate Degree

4 yrs total, including :

• 2 yrs supervisory
• 1 yr managerial / consultative / educational
• 2 yrs administrative

Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN)

3 yrs total, including :

Master’s in Nursing (MSN)

Special Requirements

Post-offer physical exam : ability to lift / carry up to 50 lbs and push / pull up to 25 lbs .

Valid driver’s license; occasional job-related travel (training, conferences, etc.).

Must be at least 21 years old.

About the facility :   Children’s Recovery Center of Oklahoma (CRC) is in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for young people ages 12 to 17.  CRC provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-Placement Testing :   Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
