Key Job Details Location : York, Pennsylvania (17403) - Pennsylvania nursing jobs Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : December 22, 2025 End Date : March 23, 2026 Setting : Operating Room - Neuro Surgery Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720-$1850 Call : 1-2 calls per week (Mon-Thur), 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks Patient Population : Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics Charting System : EPIC experience required Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in good standing (no license hits) - Registered Nurse jobs Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (neuro, trauma, ortho, robotics required) Independent function in Neurosurgery required BLS certification (AHA or ARC only) EPIC charting experience required Experience in Trauma Level II facility required; Level I preferred COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered) First-time travelers not accepted Tobacco and fragrance free Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) per contract Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Circulate and / or scrub for neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics surgical procedures Respond to code situations and emergencies in the operating room Administer blood and blood products as needed Manage patient positioning (lateral, supine, prone) and ensure safety protocols Handle specimen collection, labeling, and infection control procedures Utilize specialized equipment (electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, etc.) Participate in call rotation as scheduled, with 30-minute callback response required Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, etc.) Care for COVID-19 patients as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team in York, PA and experience a rewarding travel nursing job with excellent clinical support and a welcoming community.
