Job Description :
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment to support multiple business lines and a diverse portfolio of custom applications and third-party integrations. This role involves analyzing and documenting business needs, partnering with technical teams, and ensuring successful implementation of enhancements and new features. Responsibilities include troubleshooting urgent production issues, managing priorities, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities :
- Facilitate meetings and manage time effectively during assignments.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Interact professionally with stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and set clear expectations.
- Perform BSA-related tasks for efforts ranging from small maintenance items to large projects.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes.
- Develop detailed user stories with acceptance criteria to support product owners, SMEs, developers, and QA teams.
- Conduct requirements gathering using techniques such as JAD sessions, interviews, and surveys.
- Document business requirements, processes, and flows; prepare RFPs and SOWs as needed.
- Provide design support for technical teams and assist in planning project design sessions.
- Gather integration requirements, assess data sources, and create source / target mappings.
- Partner with QA and technical teams to ensure requirements are implemented and tested.
- Assist with UAT planning and execution.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :
Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a matrixed environment.Strong understanding of web and client / server application concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to document well-formed user stories and acceptance criteria.Knowledge of integration processes and data mapping.Experience with HR systems and eCommerce implementation.Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
