Compensation : $120,000 - $200,000+ annually
Responsibilities :
- Drive sales results through management and direct customer engagement
- Manage sales activities, pipeline, production and pace to consistently meet objectives
- Motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets by providing leadership, coaching, and guidance
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment and drive performance excellence
- Engage, motivate and demonstrate commitment to supporting the sales floor in achieving goals
- Attract, develop and retain the best people for the dealership
- Maintain exceptional employee and customer experience by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
- Monitor and train on sales process to provide a consistent customer experience
- Take ownership for the success and profitability of the sales department
- Facilitate the negotiation and financing processes ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
- Structure deals properly including incentives, lender programs and sales taxes
- Obtain lender approvals and collaborate with the finance department
- Monitor inventory levels, aging, pricing strategies, and vehicle merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with managers to execute a successful inventory management strategy
- Review results and develop action plans to improve performance
- Ensures all deals are fully compliant with company and OEM guidelines
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities
- Be an example of professionalism, morals, ethics, and customer service
Qualifications :
Exceptional customer service and organizational skillsPrior management experience in a retail automotive sales, finance and leasing (General Motors is a plus)Strong ability to negotiate and structure dealsCapable of paying attention to details while multi-taskingAbility to work both independently and within a team environmentStrong desire to set and achieve goalsDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skillsAbove average to advanced computer skillsValid in-state driver’s licenseHigh School diploma or equivalentKnowledge of regulatory and compliance requirementsBenefits :
