Assistant Athletic Trainer - Women's Soccer

Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a full time Assistant Athletic Trainer.

We are looking for an Assistant Athletic Trainer to collaborate with other members of the Athletic Training Staff in the delivery of Athletic Medicine Services to CU student-athletes. This position will report directly to the Director of Athletic Medicine. In this role you must be able to travel and work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilites :

• Additional responsibilities will include Assist the Director of Athletic Medicine in supervision of intern athletic trainers and student workers
• Attend practices and games of assigned contact sport(s) (home and away) - women's soccer
• Administrative oversight and home event / post season coverage of assigned non-contact sport(s) - TBD
• Coordinate and maintain medical referrals and records from Athletic Training room visits
• Maintain good standing with the NATA BOC and NE state licensure through continuing education unit
• Work with Athletic Performance Staff to develop programs to aid in the prevention of injury
• Serve as preceptor for the University of Nebraska at Omaha Athletic Training Education Program under the supervision of the Program Director
