Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary :

Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, TJC and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Plans, controls and coordinates the decontamination, assembly, sterilization and distribution of surgical instrumentation and supplies, stocking / cleaning and distribution of medical equipment, case carts, specialized procedure carts associated with the Sterile Processing and BMH. Ensures high quality output of service, the efficient use of resources and a safe work environment.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications :

One year of sterilization experience or 400 hours clinical CPD experience, preferably in Healthcare.

Must achieve CT CST certification within 1 year of employment.

High School Graduate or equivalent technical training required.

Job knowledge required to train other technicians

Special Skills :

Ability to read, write and speak English Required.

Ability to demonstrate Computer technology skills required, to include Microsoft office, excel and CVS files.

Preferred Skills : CT CST

$24.00 - $28.87 / hour
