About the Position :

Provide goal-directed in-home counseling / casework interventions to persons sixty years of age or older to improve quality of life and prevent nursing home placements. S eek out and provide one on one contact with older adults or their caregivers to encourage use of existing services and benefits.

A Typical Day as a New Day Senior In-Home Counselor and Outreach Worker :

Location :

2610 W. Richwoods Blvd. Peoria, IL with the willingness to travel and spend several hours in the field visiting clients' homes and communities. This office provides services to the following counties : Peoria, Woodford, Tazewell, Mason, and Fulton

Work Hours :

Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based around the availability of youth and families served
