Account Specialist

As an account specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring customer satisfaction and ensuring prompt resolution of all customer issues. This includes taking requests for quotes, processing orders, and providing follow-up status to customers via telephone, fax, email, and customer internet portals. You will review the accuracy of incoming orders and collect and input orders submitted through various channels.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and ensure the accuracy of outgoing entered orders.
• Perform data entry tasks and serve as a receptionist when necessary.
• Scan, file, and upload documents; order office supplies.
• Assist with scheduling and manage calendar.
• Place 'cold' calls to customers or potential customers to promote sales.
• Facilitate communication between the customer and appropriate company departments such as manufacturing, planning, and quality.
• Communicate regularly with clients to ensure the company meets their expectations.
• Encourage and reinforce strong relationships between customers and management.

Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite with hours from 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with potential for slight variations depending on work volume. Some overtime may be required occasionally. You will work in an ITAR / Export Control facility, mainly dealing with government contracts within an aerospace production environment. Though primarily office-based, you should be comfortable walking the production floor. The ideal candidate will be pleasant and outgoing, as this is a client-facing role. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
